STEM Campaign
Atlanta CARES launched a STEM Campaign in 2010 to provide opportunities for under resourced middle and high school students to engage in hands on STEM activities, explore STEM careers, and interact with STEM professionals. The ultimate goal is to increase the pipeline of underrepresented groups in high wage STEM careers and to create intergenerational wealth.
STEMfest Youth Conference
The annual STEMfest Youth Conference convenes over 350 middle and high school students students at Georgia Tech to participate in STEM workshops and STEM networking activities. A variety of STEMulating workshops are offered to the students during our STEMfest. They have an opportunity to select three of their preferred workshops when they register online.

STEMfest is a FREE event.
Annual STEM EnRICH Summer Academy
The STEM Campaign also includes our annual STEM EnRICH Summer Academy which is held at Morehouse College. Rising 7th grade through 12th grade males and females have the opportunity to participate in a four week ultimate camp experience. This summer learning opportunity offers fun, creative, inquiry based, and hands on learning experiences to equip the students with 21st Century skills for success. In addition to a robust STEM curriculum, they participate in a variety of enrichment activities and weekly field trips to local STEM related museums and corporations.
